The problem here is,like in other nations India is even providing equal rights to women but where is the equality in utilisation of those rights.The thing is women though aware of the rights she has,she is still bonded with many responsibilities,it may be regarding their family or etc. you may ask me what about the women in other nations? But the main hurdle between their development and freedom is they "themselves". Fundamentally they never enough fight for freedom, and for any resistance if they dont fight against they can never win. Afterall Nothing comes for free. In fact if we see recent changes, those who fought, won and they are successful too. But too be very frank ,how many fight against odds like against eve-teasing, rapes, social safety, dowry etc? Even if they keep crying that they're not getting enough of what they should, it's only their fight / openness / bravery. I wish if they'd come forward and try doing somthing and then ask, sure some results would come out.
