  1. Mostly Indian movies have a negative effect on the present youth. Leave alone the youth, even children seem to be affected with this. A very handful of movies seem to impact some of their lives. For example, around 5 kids lost their lives trying to become ‘ Krrish’!!! Is that not enough!!

  2. It depends upon how the categorisation of movies is made… those movies which are expected to have effect upon the youth n children shd be given parental guidance… parents shd sufficiently educate their children about the movies so that they realize that what is being presented in the movie is fictious n not real

  3. The effect of movies on the youth can be varying depending upon the kind of movie it is ..but to speak about it as a whole movies generally tend to have a negative effect on the youth. They tend to drive them into a virtual reel world which actually does not exists and talks certain impossible features. The youth tend to pick up the invidious aspects of the movies faster and thwart their own self.

  4. The effect of movies have a lot to contribute to changing the mentality of today’s youth in terms of expressing emotions, especially HATRED….
No doubt today’s youth are a step ahead of yesteryear’s, but then the thinking of today’s youth is so sensitive the every small things in a movie matter a lot. They take movies so seriously that we often hear incidends of unrest after the launch of a movie.
And again, the inculcation of negative aspects are much more than their positive counterparts.
Hopefully the situation changes in the near future, in terms of both, youngster not getting influenced by movies and producers producing better movies.

  6. of course movies do ve an negative impact on todays youth!!
these movie people .for want of more n more money n popularity tend to forget their social responsibility by adding too much glamour n sensual stuffs in movies.. censor board seems to be the silent spectator!! in a country like india where traditional values are more cherished n nurtured, people in the movie industry must stop their asinine attitude n start motivating youth.

  7. Mostly Indian movies have anegative effect on the youth.By watching them the youth get more bad habits and bad thoughts they are immetating the hero role which they perform very bad.
for example the srilskshmi and manohar topic

  8. friend i think we have such level of thinking so that we can realise the fact that whatever we see in moovies is totaly fictious and should not related with real life..so what the things we should to adopt in our life is the only thoughts which comes out of moovies..if thought is positive then try to analyse that and try to follow that..and if thought is negative then just leave that..

  9. It is really devastating for indian generation that they are still watching movies with a sex and violence appeal. “Rang de basanti” was real movie with great message.
